  1. Ponderings- can’t expect to win every single game…..especially when you really haven’t got a kicking game. Hornes kicking from hand is poor and Jordan for all his qualities isn’t a kicking from hand option. Jordans red card was probably the difference but Munster didn’t really create too much because of his absence.
Ross Thompsons ability to kick the ball where you’d want to play the game is potentially big next season.
It was like the Scotland v Ireland game, huge intent/physicality from the Scots but no points. Munsters defence was superb but maybe Jones should’ve played from the start, he was the one guy with that wee bit extra flair.
Dempsey and Darge played well .
Finally last night not an entirely bad thing given the European final and Munsters prize for winning last night game v the best team in the world in Dublin

    1. I think Glasgow may have found a way to win with Jordan on the pitch. But FH is definitely the major weakness in the squad. Let’s hope Thompson gets over his injury problems and Smith works his magic with him. Weir is done and Miotti is flaky. I’d like to see Simpson given a full pro-contract and what I’d give for Hastings to come back, instead of messing around with a poor team at the bottom of a weak league.

      1. Hastings would be a great signing for Glasgow. Never seen Richie Simpson – maybe some local knowledge pertaining to Simpsons prospects??

      2. I saw him a bit in the u20s and he looked promising but obviously very raw. I feel we need to invest as much into key positions like FH as possible.

  2. yes all true – never fancy Scottish teams chances against Irish ones, particularly the big games. Would love to see that change over next few years

    1. 50/50 a card will settle it IMO. I predicted it before the game. I will be happy if we play well in the European game. That has to be a Jones – TUI starting line up.
