Unrelated but what happened to the supposed upload of the Edinburgh v Newcastle game they advertised for yesterday…..poor form Edinburgh

And the follow up match confirms two things:

B&I Lions totally blew it, SA are effective only if allowed to play their way.

Carley still hopeless with foul play decisions…

I agree that B&I totally lost their nerve and Gatland really shoulders responsibility for such a negative and frankly dire approach. BUT both these games were in Australia and comparing results is a little bit like comparing apples and oranges.

Credit to Oz and delighted to see SA fans eat humble pie. I just hope this helps Lions board move on from their Gatland obsession rather than gift him the next tour as well.

The World Champions should be able to win in Australia, they deserve credit IMO. As for the next Lions head coach, I think Neil is on the right track , I am a Pat Lam fan, all day long, but it is Toony’s to lose !

I went to watch Edinburgh benetton last Saturday and my big take away was just what a good player James Lang is.
His second half performance brought a subtlety, accuracy and nous to Edinburgh midfield that has been missing. Having no really recognised what he was bringing I was very impressed.
