  1. This is unquestionably been one of the best episodes of the pod i have listened to in a while 10/10. 👍

  2. Duncan Taylor’s conversion was against Italy in Singapore. If I’m remembering correctly Finn Russell got a head knock setting up a try just before half-time and Dunc had to step up to slot the conversion.

    1. Kevin, please direct John to your Richie Gray stats compared with the other locks in the squad.

    2. Yeah, I think they brought Pete Horne on but Horne wasn’t allowed to take the conversion.

  3. Good 15 from you guys. Russell at 10 makes a big difference. Need Laidlaw in the team to knock a few of those box kicks up into the stratosphere, give Tommy something to chase and collect.

  4. Based on the recent rules of who to support pod – I can’t decide whether I should be supporting England or Ireland this weekend.

For Scotland’s World Cup campaign, Ireland being poor will be a massive plus, but they are playing England…..

    What’s the ideal outcome?

  5. Getting through the podcast. Only issue is lack of jingles. But I now have them all in my possession whenever I need them by buying the Song For Scotland.

I would love to see Richie Gray join up. Would be amazing and something we need.

For the pedantic Dale Steyn is/was a South African Cricketer (I think he has retired recently) I don’t think he’s taken up rugby nor has a Scottish granny. ;-)

    Well done chaps

    1. Thanks Referendum, I noticed my Steyn faux-pas when listening back to it yesterday. Told you I like cricket! And yes, he has recently announced his retirement, hurling a ball at 90mph towards terrified batsmen has taken its toll.
It’s not the first time I’ve made that mistake, there’s far too many Steyns kicking about. Must be Afrikaans for “Smith”.

      1. Fantasy is more interesting.
Bit more complicated in choosing players than the 6 nations one!

      2. Got mine and signed up, thanks. I enjoy the fantasy rugby updates each week on the pod when it is running – especially when it all goes badly wrong for someone….
