Six Nations Fantasy – start picking your squad

Come and play Six Nations Fantasy with the team on Superbru! It’s free, and we like it probably the best of all the systems out there at the moment as you can pick a squad rather than a team each week which allows for more flexibility with injuries.

It can even swap in subs from your squad for you if, like Brodie, you forget to change it. There are unlimited transfers before the first game, so get a skeleton squad in there and adjust it after the teams are all announced.

Most of the Pro14 players will be safe enough now but there could yet be changes from England and France who have games this weekend. The Anglo-Welsh Cup is unlikely to see too many top Welsh names sent out, you would imagine. You can have a maximum 4 from any one country, which makes it very tricky once you have to round out your squad with Italians or Frenchmen who are fit to play…

There won’t be any prizes, unless we can think of some, but we’ll be doing a regular feature on our progress during the podcast and heaping plaudits on the top performers – which is more likely to be you than one of us!

If you choose Scotland as your team you will automatically be entered into the generic “Scotland Fans” pool too. We have a “club” on there who should automatically be invited to future leagues once you’ve played one, we also run a predictor league during the PRO14 Season you are welcome to join in on.

  1. Anyone see the Sydney sevens? How did we go from pumping Canada by 50 points and nearly beating the eventual champions on days 1 & 2 to losing to Russia and then Canada on day 3?

    1. I know. It’s tricky for the guys at Superbru as they need a much wider pool of players who could yet feature. Liam Williams isn’t delisted as he’s still in the squad, for example… free transfers all round (I wish)!
