New signing Callum Gibbins will make his debut in Dave Rennie’s first home game at Scotstoun, with the New Zealander part of a powerful back row unit alongside captain Ryan Wilson and Adam Ashe.

Part-time Lion and full-time party animal Finn Russell returns to the team as Pete Horne moves into the centre for Sam Johnson in a similar looking backline to the one that beat Connacht in the rain. Despite the two tries scored, this time they will be hoping for better handling conditions, the other change being Rory Hughes swapping out for Lelia Masaga.

Up front the only pack change is Gibbins who comes in for Matt Smith, but on the bench there are a few fresh faces including Pat MacArthur, Darcy Rae, big Brian and Nick Grigg. Adam Hastings sits this one out with a gash in his leg picked up last weekend.

Overall Rennie seems to be sticking to a core team while still figuring out who those ideal second or third string players will be once the selection troubles bite in the Autumn.

Glasgow will take on an Ospreys side with plenty of experience led by Justin Tipuric, but still some way short of their top side and the WarriorNation will surely be baying for a win at the top of their considerable voices.
