Teams For Scotland vs Samoa

Andy Robinson sticks with the bulk of the team from the win against South Africa for our final Autumn International. Mossy moves off the bench to make way for Max Evans, who along with Blair and Jackson could be brought on to bring a little zip late in the game if required, or early depending on how it goes. Hall and Low keep their bench slots after a solid showing against the Boks. Congrats also to Chunk and Monty Lamont who will both earn their 50th caps. Looks good to me – A.D will be here soon to give you some insightful Samoan analysis!

Scotland: Southwell, Walker, Ansbro, Morrison, S Lamont, Parks, Lawson (capt); Jacobsen, Ford, Murray, Hines, Gray, Brown, Barclay, Vernon
Replacements: Hall, Low, Hamilton, Rennie, Blair, Jackson, Evans

Samoa: P Williams; D Lemi, G Pisi, S Mapasua, A Tuilagi; T Lavea, K Fotualii; S Taulafo, M Schwalger (capt), C Johnston, F Levi, K Thompson, O Treviranus, M Salavea, G Stowers.

Tickets are still available, but not on match day as usual. The referee for this visit to Pittodrie on Saturday (k.o. 2.30pm) is newly minted Australian Steve “Matey” Walsh, assisted by two South Africans. Gulp.
