It already looks a pretty strong squad and not short of pace even before you throw Evans into the mix. His brother Max was supposed to be in there, but he may now be out for up to 6 months with the knee injury sustained at the weekend. Here’s hoping they can grab a result on home soil and Thom doesn’t get skinned by some Kenyan/Portuguese tyro in the the quarter finals of the bowl competition.

  1. Thom will no doubt do some serious damage. I saw him play 7s at Twickenham for wasps at the Middlesex 7s a few years ago – he carved up then. Shame about Max’s injury, he has had a great season though.

  2. Thom’s out of tonight’s game vs Connacht with a calf strain hopefully he’ll get fit in time for the Sevens though.
