It’s a biggie, so expect it to be well culled before the final playing squad of 30-odd is announced. Still, they should be able to have lots of probables versus possibles games and injure each other sufficiently before November rolls around.

Pick two teams out of that? Or even one team? That task awaits Hadden and his new coaches.

I’ve never been a huge fan of Hadden…not exactly breaking news! But this is the final straw…
As every other Scotsman (and occasional Aussie, New Zealander etc) with 2 legs, a passport and a Scotland top (needn’t be current) being called up for the training squad I was outraged that neither Rory or I have made the cut…fair enough Rory lives a fair bit away and SRU travel expenses wouldn’t cover the Megabus fare, but I live just round the corner….gutted! Hadden out…….

Ha you change your tune on Hadden more often than I change my pants. But I do want to know: who is the backs coach?
Once? Twice? In the last year?
Eurgh!
As for the backs coach? Christ knows, but since us Scots are born with a natural inclination for running good angles and a sound judgement for making the right pass I doubt they need a backs coach…
…er, what do you mean we have the worst try scoring record in top level rugby…
…and Edinburgh havn’t scored a try so far this Magners League season…
…and since Hadden – the great exponent in running, free flowing rugby – we’ve seen the ball stuck up the jumper more often than a major US finance house goes to the wall whilst destabilising the whole world economy (still more often that Rory changes his pants!)…
…other than those ‘minor’ points I think it all points to us not actually needing a backs coach!
I like how you invoked Lehman Brothers to try and get us more traffic.
