Glasgow’s New Signing

To keep you entertained, a little bit of footage showing the footballing skills of David Lemi who Glasgow have signed up until the end of the season as cover in the absence of DTH Van Der Merwe, who didn’t make it back from the World Cup in once piece.

Playing in rainy conditions like those should serve him well north of the border. Can’t wait to see him standing beside Richie Gray, although hopefully we’ll see him scoring loads of tries too.

He has had troubles with injury in the recent past although he featured in Samoa’s RWC squad, so a stint at Glasgow gives him a chance to rehabilitate his body and try-scoring reputation.

UPDATE: There’s another great Lemi try on Youtube here (thanks to Graham Love)

David Lemi
Age: 29
Caps: 30 (Samoa)
Accolades: Premiership 2nd Top try scorer, 2005-6 & 2008-9, Premiership Top Try Scorer 2006-7
Previous Clubs: Bristol, Wasps
