Scottish Rugby Podcast: The Relaunch

This week sees the relaunch of our podcast with new branding and a brand new format.

We’ve been putting our regular podcasts now for over four years. Over that time the podcast has grown from the early days of a group of us having a chinwag down a dodgy Skype connection to our now weekly live broadcasts across a wide range of video and audio channels.

Last year we also launched our Patreon subscription channel offering extra content and ad free episodes from £3 per month to support our weekly video stream and we were taken aback by the level of support we received.

The podcast will still be available on all the usual channels and you won’t have to re-subscribe but you will notice a change in branding and content.

Non-Patreon Subscribers

Viewers and listeners who don’t subscribe to our Patreon will still be able to watch and listen to our weekly podcasts through our normal channels. These will cover news, Super 6, club rugby, United Rugby Championship and International games. These will be between 40 to 60 minutes long and may contain adverts and messages from sponsors. The podcast will remain PG rated.

During International windows we will also put out match previews via our video channels following team announcements.

Patreon Subscribers

Patreon subscribers will be able to watch an extended version of the podcast via our exclusive secret social media group and will be able to listen through the Patreon RSS feed. This will include Hands In The Ruck which is now a Patreon only regular feature and as with all Patreon content may contain swearing.

We will make the shortened audio version of the podcast available ad-free through the Patreon RSS feed for people who only want to listen to a condensed version.

We will continue to put out exclusive content for Patreons such as our continuing series on the hardest Scottish players and give early access to interviews as well as audio downloads of our international match previews.
