London Scottish have completed the signing of Namibian international Tijuee Uanavi from Glasgow Warriors.
Standing tall at 6ft 7′, Exiles fans can be sure to see the versatile forward causing havoc in the lineout in the upcoming Championship campaign.
Despite failing to make a real impact in Glasgow, making just 5 appearances for the Pro12 outfit since arriving in 2016, the 26 year old still brings a wealth of experience having played for Brive in the Top 14 and South African Super Rugby side The Sharks.
He has also been capped 15 times for Namibia, appearing for his country at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Speaking to the club website, Uanavi said;
“I’m really looking forward to heading to London and linking up with London Scottish ahead of the new season. The new coaches are ambitious and the squad looks strong, so I’m excited to test myself in the Championship because it seems to get more competitive each year.”

“We are delighted to welcome Tjiuee to London Scottish. Having been part of Glasgow Warriors squad last season I’m sure Tjiuee has a warmth for Scotland and its people. I spoke at length to his Glasgow Warriors team mate Alex Allan whom I coached at Loughborough University and liked what I heard about him as a player and a person.”
