Rugby Rocks ready to rock Edinburgh

On the 13th-15th July, Meggetland Sports Complex will host the inaugural Rugby Rocks Edinburgh, a fusion of mass-participation sports and music.

The festival, brought to you in association with leading sports lifestyle brand PUMA, invites you to pit your team against other local players in Rugby 7s, touch rugby and hockey tournaments, whether you’re an elite or weekend warrior.

The weekend will host live music and entertainment from resident Rugby Rocks DJs, who proved immensely popular at Rugby Rocks Yorkshire and Rugby Rocks London alongside Zane Lowe.

There will be kids coaching available from Rugby Excellence giving youngsters the opportunity to learn from professional players and for those a little older, an exclusive Rugby Rocks after-party on the Saturday night at the Opal Bar to warm up for the next day’s events!

PUMA will bring to life its ‘PUMA Social’ campaign at the festivals which pays tribute to the ‘After-Hours Athlete’ with its own Puma Social lounge area. Players and fans will be able to relax, play bar games, such as table football and enjoy the DJ sets rubbing shoulders with leading rugby stars.

Teams entering Rugby Rocks will be entitled to a 15% discount on PUMA rugby kits and PUMA will also be creating the first Rugby Rocks merchandise range on sale throughout the year online through www.rugbyrocks7s.com and at the festivals.
